Overview

Showing a publisher before the first book exists.

Drei Schwestern Verlag from Liechtenstein was just getting started: a founder, first authors, manuscripts, no book in stores yet. It needed a presence that looks like a real publisher from the start, and a system that collects contacts from day one.

From brand to website to newsletter integration: all from one hand, built with Claude and Lovable.

Define

Why not just a Linktree?

Trust. In the beginning, the website is often the only product that proves a company exists. If it looks improvised, funding and partnerships are lost before they begin.

Data. Collecting your own contacts early means not depending on a platform. Which newsletter tool is secondary. What matters is that the data belongs to the publisher.

Design

A brand as calm as the books.

A hand-drawn logo, the three sisters as a line drawing, an elegant serif with italic accents, a deep green as the base tone. The site speaks in sentences, not features: “A publisher for the topics between the lines”.

Every page collects.

Authors and books have their own pages. Anyone interested in a book signs up via “Notify me when available” and lands in the right segment. Later, the publisher can write to exactly the readers of one author instead of everyone at once.

Sign-up also asks for the country. There's no international shop yet, but it's already visible where demand sits. Expansion can be planned instead of guessed.

Plus: manuscript submission, newsletter integration with Kit, and structured publisher data for search engines and AI assistants.

AI-Readiness

Findable. Even when nobody googles anymore.

People no longer discover books only through search engines. They ask AI assistants for recommendations, research topics in conversation and have suitable content put together for them.

That's why the website wasn't only designed for people but also prepared for machine access. Structured information about books, authors and the publisher lays the foundation for SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

On top, a public MCP interface (Model Context Protocol) was integrated: a first step towards agentic browsing, where AI assistants don't just read websites but interact with digital offers in a targeted way.

Whether and how these new access routes get used remains to be seen. The technical foundation is already there.

Result

Visible before the first book is out.

Shortly after launch: 1,500 followers on the new Instagram account, because authors actively look for publishers, and 150 sign-ups for manuscript submissions. The first readers are already signing up for individual authors.

Next up: the shop system and the official launch of the books. The waitlists for individual authors are ready to go. As of October 2026.
